      • Bremen have won 28 of their 53 BL meetings with Hannover, losing just 11 times. Werder have also put 121 BL goals past the Lower Saxony club, an average of 2.3 per game.
      • Hannover have won three of their last four home games against Werder, with their last defeat to SVW in front of their own fans a 2-1 loss in late March 2014.
      • 96 are in a direct relegation spot for the first time since matchday 32 in 2009/10. Hannover won their final two games back then and saved themselves with a 15th-place finish.
