Murinho happy with squad

With 12 games of the Premier League season gone, last season's champions are 16th in the table, just two places above the relegation zone and have lost their last three league games; against West Ham, Liverpool and Stoke.

They have lost seven in total, the most that Mourinho has ever suffered in a single season.

His side are back in action following the international break with a home game against Norwich. They are 2/5 for the win with Norwich 8/1 and the draw 4/1.

Speaking at a pre-match press conference Chelsea's manager said that despite their poor form, he will not be busy in January.

Mourinho said: "I am happy with my players. I trust the players. I don't need to clean the dressing room - I heard that was written somewhere - and I don't need to ask the club to spend money in January.

"We put ourselves in a great situation by being champions, we have to be again together to put it in the right place."

After facing the Canaries, Chelsea are then in Champions League action, against Maccabi Tel Aviv before travelling to Tottenham in the Premier League next weekend.

By then Mourinho will be hoping that the side more closely resemble the one that romped to the title last season.

He added: "I believe the good moment will arrive. I think in a couple of weeks Falcao is back from injury, Courtois is back in December too so we really believe good things are waiting for us."
