Last season's champions have lost seven of their first 12 Premier League fixtures and are already 15 points behind early pace-setters Manchester City.
They are even 13 points worse off than fourth-placed Manchester United and are struggling to qualify for next season's Champions League.
Ivanovic, a model of consistency during his time at Stamford Bridge, started the season poorly and was criticised for several below-par displays, although an injury has meant he has not played since 8th October.
Ivanovic admits: "We didn't react well after winning the League trophy last season but the only way to get out of this situation is to win, win and win again.
"No one has seen anything strange in the team. I don't think any footballer wants to lose a game. It doesn't matter the situation around you, your job is to win, your passion is winning games.
"I think all of the Chelsea players approach the game like that. The players are very honest with each other. There is nothing negative. This is a normal situation."
