Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger decided to give Alexis Sanchez a mid-season break as he is concerned that his player got tired after limited break and tough period during Chile’s Copa America campaign.
Sanchez has scored six Premier League goals this season but Wenger intends to prevent him from suffering burnout and injuries.
Arsenal is now second in the Premier Legue standings after leaders Manchester City.
