China – Super League
With 2 games to go until the end of the season, Guangzhou needs just 2 points in order to win the league for the fifth consecutive season. However, today’s home game against Shandong may prove to be a tough call considering the fact that Shandong needs the point in order to qualify for next season’s Champions League competition in Asia. Furthermore, Shandong is the team which, after Guangzhou, has managed the greatest number of away wins in the league.
Russia – Premier League
CSKA Moscow, which currently holds the top of the table, plays away from home against Terek which hasn’t suffered a defeat in 5 home games and has suffered just 1 defeat in 12 games this season. In Moscow, Dinamo is playing against Spartak, in what used to be an old time derby game.
Finland – Division 1
SJK is ready to win the first league in its entire history and the situation couldn’t be more ideal as there is just one game to go and all it has to do is to beat Jaro, which currently holds the last position on the table, at home in today’s encounter.
