Champions League-Group A
Paris SG-Real Madrid: This is definitely the most interesting game of the day. Both teams have picked up 6 points from their first 2 games without conceding any goal in them. Real has to deal with a lot of injury problems, including Modric, Bale, Pepe, James and probably Benzema will be out of play for tonight’s game.
Malmo-Shakhtar: The first game between the 2 teams, with the one which is going to pick up the most points from both teams expected to be the team that is going to occupy the third position in the group. Shakhtar is coming from a great away win against Dynamo with 0-3 in the derby game for the league over the weekend.
Champions League-Group B
Wolfsburg-PSV Eindhoven: Wolfsburg is in good form lately and its home performances are quite convincing. PSV on the other hand has shown considerable defensive problems since the beginning of the season evident from the fact that it has conceded 4 goals in its first 2 games in the group and 5 goals in its last 4 games in the league.
CSKA Moscow-Man Utd: This is most likely going to be a very open encounter due to the fact that CSKA has been scoring with great ease this season in combination with Manchester’s quality and style of play especially at the attacking front.
Champions League-Group C
Atletico M.-Astana: Atletico has to take the 3 points from this game in order to make it up for its home defeat from Benfica in its second game for the group, otherwise it will face considerable problems especially if there is a winner in the other game of the group between Galatasaray and Benfica.
Galatasaray-Benfica: Benfica’s away win against Atletico Madrid in combination with Galatasaray’s away draw against Astana have made this a must win situation for Galatasaray if it is going to retain some viable chances for qualification into the next round of the competition.
Champions League-Group D
Juventus-Gladbach: Juventus has been underperforming in Serie A but in the Champions League it is doing fairly well, evident from the fact that it has managed 2 wins in its first 2 games in the group, against Man City away from home and against Seville at home. If Juventus wins this game too, it will basically consolidate its presence into the next round of the competition.
Man City-Seville: Despite the fact that Man City will be missing the services of Aguero Nasri and Silva from this game, it is in an exceptionally good form lately, evident from the fact that it has scored 11 goals in its last 2 games.
