Bosnia wants the 3 points from this game in order to put pressure on Israel which currently holds the third position of the table and plays at home against Cyprus tonight. If Bosnia gets the entirety of the available points from tonight’s game and its last game for the group away from home against Cyprus, then its chances of occupying the third position of the table are actually high enough.
Wales has had 5 wins and 3 draws in 8 games in the group and it basically needs just 1 point (or even none if Israel drops points against Cyprus), to qualify for the Euro 2016 competition. Wales hasn’t performed superbly in its September games against Cyprus away from home (1-0 win) and Israel at home (0-0 draw) but the fact is that it has gotten 4 vital points and kept a clean sheet in both of these games.
