Both teams will have to deal with a lot of absences from this game. Seville will have to find a way to make it up for the fact that its goalkeeper, Beto, as well as 3 defenders and its playmaker will not be able to make it and Barcelona will have to find a way to make it up for the fact that not only Messi, who is out for at least 1 more month, but also Iniesta is not going to be in the starting eleven.
After 2 draws and 3 defeats in its first 5 games in the new season, Seville has managed its first win last week, beating Vallecano with 3-2 away from home despite the fact that the hosts had taken the lead with 2-0. Barcelona on the other hand has done fairly well so far, with 5 wins and 1 defeat in 6 games but it should be noted that its defeat has been with 4-1 away from home, a team which currently shares the second position of the table with Barcelona.
Considering the above, Barcelona does have the upper hand in winning the game but an option which involves both teams to score isn’t bad either;
