Europa League Group 8
Sporting hasn’t managed an away win in the European competitions since 2011 and today it is going to have a hard time against Besiktas away from home especially since the hosts are in quite good form lately.
After its great 1-3 away win against Sporting in its first game in the group, Lokomotiv is hosting the underdog team of the group, Skenderbeu in what seems to be, theoretically at least, the easiest mission of the Russian team in the group.
Europa League, Group 11
Sparta Prague is hosting APOEL in a game where both teams will aim for their first win in the group. These 2 teams have bet again for the 2004-2005 Champions League preliminary round, with the game in Prague ending in a 2-1 win for the hosts and the game in Nicosia ending in a 2-2 draw.
In the other game of the group, Schalke is playing at home against Asteras and is expected to have a relatively easy night. However, the Greek are determined to prove a tough call for the favourite of the group.
Europa League, Group 2
Liverpool is playing at home against Sion and Rogers has already announced that there will be a lot of changes in tonight’s line up in order to give Sturridge, Coutinho, Milner, Clyne and Sakho some rest.
Europa League, Group 7
Lazio’s fans are not particularly interested in the team’s luck in the Europa League competition evident by the fact that very few tickers have been sold for the game against St.Etienne in Rome.
Europa League, Group 1
Molde has had a lot of ups and downs in its performances this season, something which Ajax hopes to take advantage of and manage its first win in the group after its home draw against Celtic 2 weeks ago.
Europa League, Group 5
Villareal is coming at full speed since it is sitting at the top of the table in the Primera Division and tonight it aspires to beat Plzen at home which is also in top form and has beaten Dinamo Minsk at home in its first game for the group.
In the other game of the group, Dinamo is hosting Rapid Vienna, with the guests being the favourite to win the game. Dinamo has managed just 1 win in its last 8 games whereas Rapid is sitting on top of the league table with 7 wins in 10 games.
