Guadalajara, perhaps the most popular team in Mexico, is going to have a new coach. Former Argentinian international midfielder and coach for River Plate and Banfield, Matias Almeyda, will try and guide Chivas away from danger.

Jose Manuel de la Torre was fired after another yet another defeat and Almeyda will debut in Guadalajara’s bench in tonight’s game against Queretaro.

The visitors have three straight defeats in the league and are just one point above the hosts.

Will Almeyda be able to change the fate of his new team starting from tonight’s game? If he can transmit some of his passion then surely this can a be good night for Chivas.
