Bertolacci suffers further injury setback: AC Milan midfielder Andrea Bertolacci has been ruled out of clash with Sampdoria on Saturday with the club confirming he suffered a relapse of a hamstring problem. He returned to training earlier this week having been sidelined for a month, but appears to have re-injured himself during Wednesday's training session and could now face an even longer spell on the sidelines. This latest injury comes as a blow to Sinisa Mihajlovic, who is facing a mounting injury crisis with the likes of Nigel De Jong, Diego Lopez, Mario Balotelli and Jeremy Menez still on the sidelines.

Sturridge is injured again: Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has suffered a fresh injury setback after a foot problem ruled him out of a return in Thursday's Europa League clash with Bordeaux. Sturridge was hoping to feature in the Anfield game, which Liverpool won 2-1 to reach the last 32, as he looked to get back to action following a knee injury which has kept him out since early October. However, the injury-prone England international was sent for a scan after complaining of discomfort in a foot. The 26-year-old had trained normally with the rest of Jurgen Klopp's squad on Wednesday before the problem flared up.
