Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon believes Iker Casillas has been the best goalkeeper of his era but feels Petr Cech is the “most complete overall” over the past three years.
“The best goalkeeper of my era has been Casillas. He’s always been the best with his hands.
“People always say [Lev] Yashin, [Ricardo] Zamora, [Dino] Zoff, [Sepp] Maier and [Gordon] Banks.
“If I had to select those of my era, I’d say [Peter] Schmeichel, [Walter] Zenga, [Gianluca] Pagliuca, [Andoni] Zubizzareta.
The 37-year-old has registered six Serie A titles in 20 years as well as won World Cup with Italy.
