Ramos goes off with should injury: Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos scored the opening goal against Sevilla with an acrobatic bicycle kick before landing awkwardly and being forced to leave the field with a shoulder injury. The 29-year-old defender is now a doubt for Spain's international friendlies against England and Belgium. Ramos suffered a dislocated shoulder in the 4-0 Champions League victory over Shakhtar Donetsk nearly two months ago. Since then he has been held back by coach Rafa benitez who has only used him in the club's most important fixtures.
Eusebio succeeds Moyes at Real Sociedad: Real Sociedad have named Eusebio Sacristan as their new head coach following the sacking of David Moyes. Moyes, 52, moved to Spain, looking to revive his coaching career in La Liga after being sacked by Manchester United just seven months into his contract at Old Trafford. But Moyes has been shown the door nearly one year after taking charge of the San Sebastian club. Eusebio, 51, has been out of a job since being dismissed by Barca's reserves in February 2015. He coached Celta Vigo in the Segunda Division in the 2009/10 campaign, but has yet to guide a Primera Division side.

Sakho expected to be out for 2 months: Liverpool centre-back Mamadou Sakho is expected to be out for six to eight weeks with knee ligament damage but has escaped suffering a cruciate injury. The France international fell awkwardly during Sunday's defeat to Crystal Palace following an aerial challenge with Bakary Sako. A scan on Monday revealed ligament damage to his right knee but it is believed that the player has avoided sustaining cruciate damage that would result in an extended period on the sidelines. Sakho will now meet with a consultant on Tuesday to learn the full extent of his injury and the length of his lay-off
Gayle blow for Palace: Crystal Palace striker Dwight Gayle is facing up to four weeks on the sidelines after picking up a hamstring injury. The 25-year-old is believed to have torn his hamstring in training last week, meaning he missed Palace's 2-1 win over Liverpool. And Eagles first team coach John Salako has confirmed the win at Anfield will be the first of many that Gayle will be watching from the stands.
Payet ruled out for 3 months: West Ham have been dealt a huge blow with the news that Dimitri Payet may be ruled out for three months. The Frenchman was tackled by Everton's James McCarthy in their 1-1 draw in the Premier League at Upton Park on Saturday. The Frenchman has been in sensational form for the Hammers since his summer move from Marseille. He has started all 12 Premier League games for the club this season, scoring five goals to help the Hammers up to sixth in the table.

Salah out for 4-6 weeks: Roma winger Mohamed Salah is set to be sidelined for four to six weeks after suffering an ankle injury in Sunday's derby victory over Lazio, with coach Rudi Garcia furious that Senad Lulic was not sent off for the challenge. The Egyptian international left the Stadio Olimpico on crutches following Roma's 2-0 victory, with Garcia suggesting that it would be a "miracle" if the player's ankle was not broken. Salah has impressed since joining Roma in the summer, scoring five goals in 10 Serie A starts.

Stramaccioni takes Panathinaikos job: Panathinaikos have appointed Andrea Stramaccioni as their new coach. The 39-year-old Italian manager has signed a one-and-a-half year contract with the Athens team to take over from Yiannis Anastasiou, who resigned after an unsuccessful game against AEK Athens. Stramaccioni, the former Inter Milan coach, had been out of a job since being dismissed by Serie A side Udinese in June. Panathinaikos failed to reach the UEFA Champions League group stages this season and lie second in the domestic standings, eight points adrift of league leaders Olympiakos.

Bellarabi to miss Germany friendlies: Karim Bellarabi will miss Germany's international friendlies against France and Netherlands after suffering a thigh injury. The Bayer Leverkusen midfielder was substituted at half time in his side's 2-1 Bundesliga win over Koln on Saturday. Bellarabi, 25, is to remain with Bayer Leverkusen, where he will continue rehabilitation.
Fellaini withdraws from Belgium squad: Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has withdrawn from the Belgium squad through injury. The 27-year-old missed Saturday's 2-0 win against West Brom with an unspecified injury sustained in training on Friday. That issue has subsequently forced Fellaini out of Belgium's squad for the upcoming friendlies against Italy and Spain.
