Celta – Valencia: Celta is by far the most positive surprise team in the league this season, as a result of the fact that it has had 6 wins, 3 draws and 1 defeat in 10 games, 8 of which have ended as over 2.5 goals games. Valencia is coming from a 3-0 home win against Levante in its last game but it should be noted that it has suffered 3 defeats in its last 3 away games in the league.
Levante – La Coruna: Levante has had 1 win, 3 draws and 6 defeats in 10 games and as such it currently shares the last position of the table together with Las Palmas. It is coming from a 3-0 away defeat from Valencia in its last game, the third consecutive one in which it didn’t manage to score a goal. La Coruna has had 3 draws and 1 defeat in its last 4 games but it has performed well enough away from home this season, evident from the fact that it has had 2 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat in 5 games.
Eibar – Getafe: Eibar is performing very well this season, evident from the fact that it has had 4 wins, 4 draws and 2 defeats (from Barcelona and Atletico) in its 10 so far games this season. Getate on the other hand is very weak away from home, reflected by the only 1 point that it has picked up in 5 away games this season, scoring just once in them.
Vallecano – Granada: Vallecano is not that much of a favourite to win this game, especially when taking into consideration the fact that it has had 1 win and 4 defeats in its last 5 games. Granada hasn’t managed a win in its last 8 games (4 draws and 4 defeats in them) but its away performances have been decent and it has proved quite unlucky lately since it was equalised in the dying minutes of its last 2 games against Gijon and Espanyol.
Malaga – Betis: Malaga is facing great goal-scoring difficulties, evident from the fact that the 5 goals it did actually manage to score in 10 games this season reflect the worse attacking record from any other team in the 5 major leagues in Europe. Betis has only been beaten once in its 5 so far away games in the league (from Real Madrid) with 2 wins and 2 draws in the rest of them.
