Buffon a doubt for the match against Gladbach: Gianluigi Buffon has confirmed he is in doubt for the game against Borussia Monchengladbach in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday after picking up an injury against Inter. The Juventus veteran appeared to hurt his calf during a 0-0 Serie A draw at San Siro on Sunday and was limping throughout much of the second half of the match. Buffon will now wait for medical checks before the fixture in Turin but is confident that understudy Neto is a more than adequate replacement.

Cech in the starting line-up: Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed goalkeeper Petr Cech is set to start against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday. David Ospina had been selected ahead of Cech in Arsenal's opening two matches of Group F, both of which ended in defeat. But with Ospina injured, Cech is due to feature in his first European game for the Gunners since signing from Chelsea in the summer.

Bale to miss clash against PSG: Real Madrid star Gareth Bale has reinjured his calf muscle and will miss the Champions League game against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday. Bale played 45 minutes in Real Madrid's 3-0 win against Levante and was substituted by Lucas Vazquez. Real may get Luka Modric back from injury after the midfielder returned to training on Monday. Karim Benzema, Sergio Ramos and Pepe are also doubtful, while James Rodriguez and Dani Carvajal have been ruled out due to injury.
